Ahead of the forthcoming Lagos Book Walk that has been scheduled to hold on April 25, 2023, the Committee for Relevant Art, CORA and the Network of Book Clubs and Reading Culture Promoters in Nigeria, NBRP are jointly convening a pre-event stakeholders summit at this year’s edition of the Lagos Book and Arts Festival, LABAF.
The summit which will be graced by a cross section of book enthusiasts would take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Freedom Park, Broad Street Lagos.
Among others, the session would witness presentations from speakers drawn from the broad gamut of the books ecosystem in Nigeria, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between NBRP and CORA on book clubs in public libraries in Nigeria and the articulation of stakeholders perspectives for improving the reading culture in Lagos.
