After many months of building up to the big day, the Network of Book Clubs and Reading Culture Promoters in Nigeria NBRP and partners formally flagged off the year-long Abuja Book City Project on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
The Nigerian National Book City Project, which is modelled after the UNESCO World Book Capital, had previously been hosted by Uyo, Yenagoa and Lagos and this is the fifth year it is running.
Here are pictures from the session.
